You will develop your creativity through focusing on art practice underpinned by traditional research methods. As studies are primarily Tairāwhiti based, academic research is informed by te reo Māori me ona tikanga o Te Tairāwhiti.

Courses start at level 5 in the first year and all subjects are fully prescribed, initially introducing you to a broad range of art disciplines. However, in subsequent years you will be offered a selection of options to complement compulsory courses and support your art specialty development.
