Diploma in Information Technology (Support and Operations)

Graduates will have a broad understanding of computer industry concepts, and knowledge of current computing technologies and trends. They will have a high level of skills in both operations and support which will equip them for a range of support and operations roles within the computer industry such as help-desk roles.
Graduates may choose to progress to more advanced study at degree or postgraduate level.

Tasman prides itself on its good relationships with employers. We are privileged to provide students with inspirational talks and seminars from leaders in the field. In some programmes, students have the opportunity to gain work experience through internships with our industry partners.

Tasman's premises are modern, light and airy with fantastic views over Auckland's key landmarks. Our spacious classrooms are fully equipped with everything you need for successful study. Students have free fast internet, magazines, big comfy seating, and a student kitchen and canteen area.

Tasman offers fun outside activities that give students the opportunity to make friends outside the classroom and explore New Zealand at the same time.In the past our activities have included beach barbecues, sports days, the Maritime museum, ice-skating, and a trip to the International Gardens in Hamilton.
